I felt terrible for Jennifer + Scott because they had hoped to get married outdoors under a giant, old tree at IronWood on the Vermilion and had several locations they wanted to take their photos in the LaSalle, Illinois area. We watched the weather radar all morning to determine when the rain would start because of all the locations we wanted to take photos at the first spot was the most important. We not only wanted to capture some creative shots there but also have the First Look. Luckily, the rain held off until we were wrapping up our photos but by the time we made it to the ceremony site, it was down-pouring and Plan B had to be initiated for the ceremony. Even though plans had to be changed, Scott and Jennifer took it in stride and it was one of the most touching ceremonies I’ve attended in a long time and became the perfect Illinois fall wedding.
